People tend to see what they want to see in my strips. I'm often baffled by what some readers assume I'm saying between the lines. Today's strip, for example, had nothing to do with the Holocaust, yet at least one reader's life experience led him to believe that it did. (I was actually thinking about the movie Silence of the Lambs which I had recently watched.)
As one who lived through World War II, and observed pictures of just such a series of horrible events, such as making lampshades and the like from the skin of Jewish prisoners, I find your so-called cartoon strip nauseating in the extreme, and totally insensitive to survivors of those attrocities. No, I’m not Jewish, but I feel for the families of those who died in those concentration camps. You’ve just joined the Amadinejab Club, in effect denying that the horrors ever happened. Congratulations, you just won the Insenstive Cruelty of the Month Award. And don’t bother to respond, anyone…I’ve just cut this pile of excrement from my list.
My life experiences often lead me to make assumptions about what I see in the comics, too. My life experience, for example, makes it difficult for me to see a friendly castle inspector in the comic panel below. Unpleasant childhood memories cloud my view of how I see many so-called "friendly" men who approach children.

Mr. Wells said his piece, and I wish him well in finding a more suitable comic strip for his reading pleasure. For those who choose to stick around, it might be helpful to know that I'm not as deep or as mysterious as you make me out to be.
P.S. The collection of hangers below has nothing to do with today's strip either. I merely found it to be a fun and eclectic collection, nothing more.
